Atlantic City Shockers (HISTORY)

It started New Year's Eve 2000. A bunch of old high school and college buddies got together at a party and a challenge was made.

Some college guys were bragging about their skills and challenged the boys, who were now in their mid 20's, to a New Year's Day game. The game commenced at 12p.m. sharp in Mystic Islands, NJ. The boys (who had not played organized ball in years) accepted and this created the first ever TOILET BOWL live from Mystic Islands.

They called themselves "The Knights" and won that game 49 to 14.

That day, "The Razor", Mikey Balls, "The Devil", Mongo, Armageddon Ed and Johnny Blaze played Iron Man ball and dispatched their opponents with ease. The Toilet Bowl lasted for four more years until New Year's Day 2005.

Now with the likes of Tommy, "The Unspeakable", "The Destroyer", Lance, Matty, "The Cookie Monster" & Rich N' Creamy, The Knights were unbeatable winning The Toilet Bowl 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004.

In 2005, challenges were made, but no team showed up to play. It was then that The Knights looked further to showcase their talents. On CraigsList, the boys found an ad about seven on seven tackle football called Town Beef. Calls were made and they joined immediately. They enlisted new talent like "The Pacman", Ambrose, Big Tony, K.B., Sexy Bubba, Angry Mutha and Dirty Sanchez.

The AC Knights were born, or so we thought. The Knights showed up at the Sayerville field for opening day and found out they were bumped from the schedule. League officials told them they were out and replaced by a team called The Onslaught. The Knights, always ready to play ball, could not go home empty handed, so they joined with The Onslaught. They had a box of black/red jerseys that said Shockers. The rest is history.

That day, an impact was made that can still be felt by the multiple cuncussions inflicted upon The Falcons Squad by a man named Mongo.
